For Braden?Europe BV we are currently looking for an

Operational Buyer

The Operational Buyer is responsible for the operational purchasing process and offers support with stock management

The job

  • Issues enquiries and/or purchase orders with the limits of delegated authority and in accordance with division policies and procedures
  • Keeps track records of on time material deliveries and makes sure material is procured within budget
  • Checks and approves incoming invoices with regard to compliance and correctness
  • Administers and distributes the required documentation, such as material or test certificates and quality documents
  • Checks delivery notes, order confirmations and material certificates
  • Supplier selection for fast moving products
  • Establishes relationships with suppliers and operational staff, works closely with Buyer and Logistics
  • Assists management in ensuring efforts are made to achieve department objectives efficiently
  • Checks inventory (inventory count)
  • Carries out general administrative tasks
  • Participates in departmental process improvement initiatives

Our requirements

  • Completed commercial/administrative MBO/MBO+ education
  • Several years of relevant work experience
  • Thorough knowledge of Purchasing policy and practices; NEVI MIL or NEVI I is an advantage
  • Excellent computer skills, knowledge of Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and ERP
  • Good knowledge of German and English
