The Control Tower provides professional 4PL services, including transport management. To further build up our expertise and know how we are looking for a partner manager to strengthen the control tower team. He/she will take on the responsibility for a professional approach to our transport and warehouse partners for one of our key 4PL-contracts.

Key functional areas

Implementation & improvement

• End-2-end mindset, you focus on total process and not on transport execution only.
• Support and lead the implementation of different partners
• Ensure to meet agreed targets in operations together with the partners
• Drive continuous improvement with the partners on existing operations and new solutions
• Ensure alignment on terms & conditions with partners versus commercial agreements with our customer

Relationship management

• Be the trusted partner manager for our customers when talking about new solutions with existing or new partners
• Lead regular business review (MBR/QBR)
• Extensive experience in logistics/operations
• Solve logistical issues related to warehouse and transport, driving for ownership with our partners to come with solutions
• Providing solutions with the right terms & conditions which serve our customer
• Build solid relation with partners

Requirements

• Minimum bachelor’s degree in logistics or economical field
• Solid understanding of LLP/4PL setups of managing transport and partner hubs
• Experience with transportation contracts, tariffs, terms & conditions
• Clear understanding of warehouse and transport processes and their interaction in different modes (ocean, road, rail)
• Good analytical as well as interpersonal and commercial skills
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel) for data driven approach
