The location in Oostrum, Netherlands, offers logistics and supply chain services for customers in the EMEA-region. The Engineering & Project Management department provides support for various customer-oriented implementations and optimizations of logistics concepts and processes. Expansion of activities requires a next Logistics Project Engineer.

You will be a member of the site Engineering team and report to the Manager Engineering & Project Management.

Here’s a glimpse of what you’ll do:

• You are able to translate customer wishes into a BRD (business requirement document).
• You design and implement logistics processes for new or existing customers.
• You are able to design optimal physical layouts.
• You draw up process descriptions, that you translate into functional specifications, for the realization of IT system developments.
• You are closely involved in the assessment of (new) customer issues for logistics solutions and services.
• You are able to independently manage smaller projects and participate as an active member in larger projects

What you’ll need to have to be successful and happy in this role:

• BSc or MSc level (Logistics Engineering / Supply Chain Mgt. or equivalent).
• Job-relevant work experience.
• Solid experience and knowledge of Warehouse Mgt. Systems / logistics processes.
• Good knowledge of MS Office Excel (Visio / AutoCAD is a plus).
• Analytical strong; structured; critical thinking.
• Eagerness to learn; can lead and direct.
• Good communication skills in English and (preferably) Dutch.
• Good contact skills, you work closely with various Flex colleagues.
• Position can be filled 32-40 hours a week.
