At Flex Venray we have an exciting opportunity for an Environment, Health & Safety Officer who will make our enthusiastic QEH&S team complete! We are looking for a driven colleague who is passionate about designing, improving and executing our Sustainability Program. You also will be a part of our CSER Team (Corporate Social Environmental Responsibility) and lead and execute site improvement activities. The EH&S Officer we are looking for has excellent communication skills paired with collaborative personality and can cooperate in every level of our business. Here is a glimpse of what you’ll do:

• Conduct accident investigations, identify preventive actions and ensure adequate reporting in local/Corporate systems
• Supervision on EH&S aspects within Flex
• Provide direction to employees according to established corporate policies and management guidance
• Ensure reporting and required administration is conducted as per corporate and country law regulations
• Manage budget and schedule for EH&S activities
• Provide induction training and other trainings with regards to standards and legislation including Corporate standards
• (Co)represent/ assist site on internal and external audits

Here is some of what you’ll need (required):

• Minimal Dutch degree MVK (Middelbare Veiligheidskundige) or a Bachelor level of degree is required
• Knowledge of related Legislation, ISO standards (14001/45001) and Sustainability frameworks (e.g. SDG)
• Fluent in Dutch as well as English (written and oral)
• 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar role and practical hands-on experience with EH&S audits, training and educations, advice Managers on EH&S topics and implementing a Sustainable/ EH&S culture
• Pro-active as well as analytical mindset; able to see the wider picture
