XPO offers a challenging role as Customer Service Officer for our venray office. You work together with a cozy team of colleagues. You have a great sense of responsibility, know how to quickly master your work and dare to make decisions. Because you get a lot of responsibility and have internal and external contacts, we are looking for a communicatively strong candidate. Due to the daily hectic pace, we are looking for an employee with a strong hands-on mentality.

What do you do as a Customer Service Officer:

  • Acts as the customer's first contact for operational questions and issues
  • Solves operational questions and problems, possibly in consultation with other interested departments
  • Monitors the progress and handling of different services and products. E.g. urgent orders and special treatments. Aligns the terms and conditions relating to the handling with the manager
  • Contributes to the maintenance, monitoring and reporting of KPIs
  • Takes care of the planning of incoming and outgoing shipments
  • Identifies individual work problems, solves them and/or reports them to their supervisor
  • Gives follow-up to telephone contacts and gives substance within the commercial agreements
  • Proactively identifies and tracks (sales) opportunities with customers and passes them on to the manager
  • Prepares reports based on customer contacts
  • Solves shipment-related problems, makes proposals for solving structural problems
  • Ensures proper recording of data in the system
  • Evaluate processes and agreements (Service Level Agreement) and identify areas for improvement in the quality of service and report them to the manager

What do you own as a Customer Service Officer:

  • MBO+/HBO working and thinking level
  • Knowledge of expedition, transport and logistics, preferably in a warehouse environment
  • Knowledge in the field of internal production and business processes within the various business units and activities
  • Excellent oral and written skills in the Dutch and English languages
  • You are communicative, a team player, accurate and stress-resistant.

Your work environment

You will work as a Customer Service Officer in a warehouse that is located in Venray. The team consists of a mix of different nationalities of young and old. In this role you report directly to the Teamleader Customer Service.
